The business has built up a strong reputation as a restaurant. However it also benefits from a converted License IV that would allow it to run independently as a bar. The restaurant is known for being open every day (except Mondays) throughout the summer season. The current owners have chosen to limit their opening hours and scope of the business to suit their other commitments, so there is huge potential to widen those opening hours, exploit the Bar License and open the Chambres D'Hôtes. The sale of the business "fonds du commerce" includes the Limited company (S.A.R.L), the Licence IV, all the electronic copyright (Website/Facebook/TripAdvisor etc.), goodwill and an extensive inventory (over 150,000 Euro at cost). Everything that you will need to continue to run as is, without additional cost.
There are four popular campsites as well as numerous gites within a close proximity to the bar which bring in extensive trade in addition to 'local' over the summer season. The current owners have made a good relationship with these campsites/gites and it is has resulted in the restuarant receiving many of their clientele. One of these campsites, Camping Chateau le Verdoyer which is open most of the year is a Dutch run campsite established 30 years ago and is extremely popular with all nationalities, (many Brits have static caravans which they live in for a good 8 months of the year. They were awarded ‘Runner up’ by the Caravan Club/Alan Rogers for the ‘Family Award’ 2016. In addition a new campsite only 1km away from the bar is being opened next summer which clientele have to drive past the restaurant in order to access the campsite. Grand refurbishment plans are being currently put in place to make this new campsite a substantial site – so a further increase in tourists to the area is expected.
